To ensure the best experience, the maximum number of people per group is 25.
Want to organize your group view?
Through play, dramatization and the use of didactic resources, students will tour the three floors of the Palacio de Velarde while learning about daily life, architecture and historical characters linked to the building and Cantabria.
To make the visit more fun, the students, using a map that we will give them on arrival, will have to learn to interpret the different areas of the Palace to locate a treasure chest that will be hidden in a room of the palace.
The program adapts to different educational stages and is designed to reinforce curricular content in a playful, memorable and accessible way.

At the Palacio de Velarde we believe that history is more enjoyable when it is shared calmly, in good company and without haste. That is why we have created an experience specially designed for residences, day centres, associations for the elderly or cultural groups where we adapt the rhythm, duration and content of the visits to the characteristics of the group.
Although the Palace does not have elevators, as it is a protected building, many of our groups enjoy the first two floors accompanied by our team, and those who wish can stop on the ground floor or only partially access the upper floors.
